Some of California's beautiful coastline, south of Big Sur. When I made this photograph, hundreds of thousands of gallons of oil were spewing into the Gulf of Mexico each and every day, in the ecological crisis that British Petroleum created. The message of the photo is simple: Land, sky, and water are all interconnected on this small planet, and what impacts one will impact the others. We will be eating and drinking British Petroleum's toxic oil for decades to come. Thanks, BP! Canon 5D, MC Zenitar 16mm f/2.8 diagonal fisheye, ISO 400, 1/1000 sec, f/8.
