I took this photo in my early teen years. The man was taking a short nap in the park of the town square of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. Unfortunately when a guard from the jail across the street saw me taking his picture, he woke the man and asked him to move on. (I've always felt bad about that.) I loved the rough texture of the man's hair, as it complemented the rough texture of the rope. (Pentax Spotmatic F, Takumar 55 mm f/1.8 lens, Plus-X film.)
