Ordering Prints
General information: You can order unframed prints of any of the images on this website. I do most of my printing in-house, using a professional Epson Stylus Pro 4000 wide carriage gicleé printer. Epson Ultrachrome technologies are currently considered the industry standard in archival fine arts printing. Their inks and papers have light fastness (fade resistance) ratings on the order of a century or more. I ship my prints in a big tube and guarantee safe arrival. Optionally, I can out-source my printing for prints larger than 17" (in their shorter dimension) or for special papers. Depending on print size, these will be shipped either in a tube or flat.

Framing Information: Please note that my images are primarily in two aspect ratios. The "longer/skinnier" images have a 2:3 aspect ratio, which is native to the 35mm format. This doesn't lend itself well to any standard frame size and generally requires custom framing. For instance, rather than an 11x14 image, a print in this format would be 11 x 16 1/2". The reason I use this aspect ratio is simply because I like the way it looks for most images.
The "shorter/wider" images have a 4:5 aspect ratio and fit standard frame sizes such as 8x10, 11x14, and 16x20. Although they fit well into a standard, off-the-shelf frame, I highly recommend having a good mat custom cut to mount the print into the next size of standard frame -- for instance an 11x14 print in a 16x20 frame. A mat is not only aesthetic, but it also protects the print from contact with the glass (which would deteriorate it).
Return Policy: If your print is damaged in shipping, I will reprint it for you at no cost. If you decide you do not like your print for any reason, you may return it for a refund of 80% of the purchase price.
How to order: Simply send me an email via my Contact page. Let me know which image you want to purchase and in what size, and I will write you back with a confirmation of price and printing/shipping times. If everything is agreeable, I can either send you a Paypal invoice, or you can mail me a personal check (which must clear before I ship). I'm sorry, but I do not accept credit cards.
